2007 Hunting Season Opener!
SK-1 took this huge Sika on 16 Nov 07. This sets the bar pretty high for the hunt club...and could be the biggest deer of the year!
Mount Fuji "Boss" Sika
SK-1 took this monster buck Nov 2005. His head was expertly mounted and now resides in the Yabanjin family room. This was possibly the biggest deer taken on or around Mount Fuji in 20+ years!

Great Blog! I have added a link on Shumi Hanto. There are 6 or 7 of us gaijin hunters in the area up here. I have only hunted one season so far, but hope to get to Hokaido or Iwate this year to kill my first Sika. I'll keep an eye on your blog. Thanks for the comment.
